TV RIGHTS: ANTITRUST A LEAGUE SOCCER, THE DIRECT ON TV PACKAGE DAHLIA APPLIES ONLY TO ITEMS 2010-2011

Avviato procedimento per pratiche scorrette nei confronti della società in liquidazione: le informazioni ai consumatori per ottenere i rimborsi dei pacchetti per la parte non fruita sono del tutto insufficienti. Chieste informazioni anche a Telecom e Lega per comprendere le eventuali misure adottate per tutelare i consumatori.

Un altolà alla Lega Calcio per chiarire che la trattativa privata in corso per la riassegnazione dei diritti tv a suo tempo acquisiti da Dahlia è ammessa in via eccezionale solo per il campionato in corso; un procedimento per possibile pratica commerciale scorretta attuata dalla stessa Dahlia nei confronti degli utenti che sarebbero rimasti privi non solo della visione delle partite ma anche di qualsiasi informazione sui loro diritti. Sono le due iniziative adottate dall’Antitrust sulla vicenda dell’emittente in via di liquidazione.

In particolare l’Antitrust ha scritto alla Lega Calcio per ricordare che l’assegnazione dei diritti attraverso trattativa privata, svolta peraltro in tempi particolarmente ristretti, è giustificabile solo con riferimento alla stagione in corso. Per i diritti relativi al Campionato 2011-2012, invece, non appaiono sussistere esigenze di urgenza e necessità che possano giustificare il mancato ricorso alle procedure concorsuali previste dalle linee guida in materia.
